A second half fight-back from Whitby Town defeat brave Pickering Town to win the North Riding Senior Cup at Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium,
Pickering stunned their higher league opponents in the first half as midfielder Nick Thompson curled a spectacular effort into the top corner.
Whitby made some changes and they paid dividends. Dale Hopson hit the equaliser with a free kick.
