Ryan Hindley has left Hallam and taken over at Worksop Town

Worksop Town have delighted their supporters by appointing fans’ favourite Ryan Hindley as their new manager.

He leaves Hallam after almost two years in charge at Sandygate. He is credited with lifting Hallam from abyss and turning them into promotion contenders. One of his assistants at Hallam – Stephen Whitehead – has joined him at Worksop.

Hindley counts Worksop as one of his former clubs.

He told Worksop’s official website: “Having been a player here I know what the fans look for, I want to get them on the edge of their seats and play attacking football.

“We will be hardworking and difficult to beat. The fans demand we get the ball forward, score goals and entertain.”
