Goalkeeper Adam Stevens, defender Jack Waldron and midfielder James Walker have agreed to remain at Armthorpe

Three more of Armthorpe Welfare’s squad from last season have agreed to stay with the club.

Goalkeeper Adam Stevens, defender Jack Waldron and midfielder James Walker have all indicated to manager Mike Carmody that they will remain with the club for the new campaign.

They follow Will Ramsay, Josh Gibbons and Chris Gowen in pledging their futures to Armthorpe.

Carmody said: “I’m delighted we have again been able secure the services of Jack Waldron, James Walker and Adam Stevens who have all agreed to play with us again this coming season.

“Jack was more a less an ever present for us last season putting in some fine performances and is one that will get better and better the more he plays at this level. He is ever reliable and a real team player.

“Jimmy is another lad who I’m happy to see stick around. He always works tirelessly for the good of the team. He’s been a part of some very good Armthorpe teams over the years and our aim is to get back to the levels he’s used too.

“Adam came to us last October and showed straight away a great consistency, at times single handedly keeping us in games. So it’s great to see these lads sticking around and remaining loyal to the club. I look forward to working with them once again.”
