Goole AFC have received their expected reprieve following the winding-up of Ilkeston FC will and play in the Division One North next season.
The reshuffle also means relegated Frickley Athletic have moved to Division One South – which means they will face Stocksbridge Park Steels next season.
Goole, under the leadership of Derry Robson and David Taylor, get another chance to improve Goole’s fortunes in the Evo Stik.
As well as being wound-up at the High Court in Liverpool, The Northern Premier League refused Ilkeston FC a licence following repeated breaches of the previously issued Conditional Licence applied last season.
Goole’s reprieve could save Barton Town Old Boys from relegation from the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division. In turn that could put Teversal back in Division One. On the original plan, Teversal were moved sideways.
