Dan Clayton is the latest player who has dropped a level to play for Knaresborough Town next season.

However, it should not come as a surprise as his dad Paul is the new assistant manager of Knaresborough.

Clayton leaves Thackley to join up with Knaresborough, who have already signed up Gregg Anderson, Steve Bromley and Greg Kidd.

The former Tadcaster Albion left-back has played for Knaresborough before.
