Howarth swaps Celtic for Tadcaster

Farsley Celtic winger Chris Howarth (left) has joined Tadcaster

Experienced left-sided player Chris Howarth has swapped Farsley Celtic for local rivals Tadcaster Albion.

Howarth leaves Farsley for the second time on a major high having being part of the team that won promotion to the Premier Division.

He lots of experience from spells at Garforth Town and at Bradford (Park Avenue) in the National League North.

“Capturing someone like Chris is a huge statement and clearly shows the direction the club is heading in” said Mike Morton.

“After meeting Chris we knew instantly that he would be great for the whole club.

“He is a big character and a top player who can occupy both full-back roles.”

  1. Howey is a top lad. V v good signing for Tad. He’s one I would have kept, as he is very versatile. He’s a trier who gives 100% every game.
