Winterton Rangers 0-2 Selby Town

Ryan Woodhead played a pivotal role in Selby’s win at Winterton

Christian Fox’s Selby Town magic bus continues to move at high speed after a solid away win at Winterton Rangers.

Fox, clearly one of, if not the best young manager in the NCEL, and his exciting young team remain in fifth on 40 points going into the second half of the season – the best position Selby have been in for a number of years.

An early blast from former Garforth Town man Ryan Woodhead laid the platform for victory.

Selby grabbed the all-important second goal straight after the break. Reece Lucas’ fine ball found Woodhead and he squared it for star forward Liam Flanagan to score from.
