Carl Stewart scored the winner for Goole

Carl Stewart’s sixth minute was enough for Goole AFC to gain a much-needed 1-0 win over Ramsbottom United.

The victory moves Goole level on points with second-bottom Ossett Albion who were beaten 4-1 at Clitheroe. Tommy Wood had given Ossett the lead.

Marcus Day put Brighouse Town ahead at Mossley, but a last minute goal from their former striker Michael Fish earned the hosts a 2-1 win.

Conor Sellars scored a penalty in Tadcaster Albion’s 1-1 draw with Trafford.

Ossett Town lost 1-0 at home to Kendal Town.

A first minute goal downed Farsley Celtic in the 1-0 defeat to Sutton Coldfield Town at Throstle Nest in the Premier Division.
