Former Pontefract Collieries striker Chris Wood scored an important goal during his debut for Parkgate

Parkgate pulled off a stunning 3-2 home win over Bridlington Town having looked dead and buried at half-time.

Parkgate were trailing 2-0 at the break to a Jake Day double, but they turned it around to secure Billy Fox his first win since taking over.

Debutant Chris Wood started the fight-back before Andrew Fox equalised and Zac Khalifa won it at the death.

Harrogate Railway also won 4-2 at Athersley Rec to remain above Parkgate.

Luca Barauelli, George Eustance, Jamie Bairstow and Fraser Lancaster were Railway’s goal-scorers. Lee Garside and Jimmy Eyles struck for the Rec.

Maltby Main won 3-2 at Pickering Town in a pulsating clash, thanks to Josh Nodder’s 85th minute winner.

Steven McDonnell and Steve Hopewell also struck for Maltby. George Bissett and Lewis Taylor scored for the Pikes.

Liversedge were losing 4-2 at Worksop Town with five minutes left until Rhys Davies and Joe Walton pulled them out of the fire to rescue a point.

The pair were also the scorer of their earlier goals.
