Tadcaster Albion have lured popular former player Paddy Miller back to the i2i Sports Stadium.

The experienced centre-back joins from Hyde United where he opted not to renew his contract due to the travelling becoming “unsustainable”, just weeks after scoring the last-minute winner which won them promotion.

The left-footer departed the Brewers in 2015 to join Farsley Celtic before ending up in Tameside with Hyde where he achieved promotion last season.

Mike Morton said: “Myself and Simon are really looking forward to working with Paddy again. It’s a big capture for the club not just on the pitch but off it too. He’s top class with the young lads and he will be a fantastic addition for all at the club.”

Miller has enjoyed lots of success during his semi-professional football career which has also taken in spells with Yorkshire Amateur and Scarborough Athletic.
