Cult hero Curtly Martin-Wyatt is back at Garforth Town.

Cult hero Curtly Martin-Wyatt has completed his long-awaited comeback at Garforth Town.

Garforth die-hards have been eager to see the striker back in a yellow and blue jersey for a long time and their dreams have finally come true.

The powerful forward has just returned from a long-term injury which has kept him out since the end of the 2016/17 season – a campaign that saw him represent Goole AFC and Frickley Athletic.

Martin-Wyatt was a talismanic figure for Garforth during the 2015/16 as his 21 goals and superb performances, plus the heroics of Mick Jones, in the latter half of the season saved the Miners from relegation. The striker stayed loyal to the club after a mass exodus of players to Ossett Town and he came up with the goods to avert disaster.
