Striker Radford rejoins Armthorpe

Toolstation NCEL Division One

Liam Radford, in battle for Nostell in March, is back with Armthorpe Welfare

Popular striker Liam Radford has been enticed back to Armthorpe Welfare from ambitious Nostell Miners Welfare.

Radford, who has had more than one spell with Armthorpe, returns to the club he left around the turn of the year after choosing to join Jason Dodsworth and Simon Houghton’s revolution at Nostell.

Manager Mike Carmody said: “I’m really pleased to announce that we’ve managed to once again secure the services of Liam. Everyone throughout the league will know the quality he possesses and I’m delighted he’s agreed to join back up with us.

“I’ve known Liam for many years and I know I’m getting 100% commitment and effort every time he steps onto the football field. I think he’ll be a good influence around the club and on the younger boys in the squad. I’m looking forward to working with him once again.”
