Work commitments have forced Curtis Woodhouse to stand down as manager of Bridlington Town.

His exit was confirmed 24 hours after the surprise 2-1 defeat to Athersley Rec at Queensgate.

Woodhouse replaced Gary Allanson in September 2016 and his most notable achievement is leading Bridlington to the NCEL League Cup final at Bramall Lane in May 2017.

Brett Agnew has taken over as caretaker manager, with Anthony Bowsley assisting.
