Nostell Miners Welfare chairman Kevin Allsop is running the Leeds 10k on Sunday to raise money for Martin House Hospice.
Mr Allsop previously ran the Leeds 10k in 2017 in one hour and ten minutes. He also completed the race, with son Jamie in 2018.
He is trying to raise £1000 for Martin House.
