Young centre-back Joe Singleton is back on the Non League circuit after rejoining Athersley Rec.
Singleton was with Athersley until deciding to take a season out last year.
The forceful centre-back, once tipped to be a future Evo Stik star defender, is best known for his stint with Worsbrough Bridge where he was vice-captain under Josh Wright.
Prior to playing for Worsbrough, Singleton was a member of a successful Stocksbridge Park Steels youth team.
He joined Athersley, then-managed by Luke Potter, in October 2017 and spent the rest of that season playing for the Rec.
Athersley boss Graham Nicholas has also re-signed fellow defender Tom Copping, the former promotion-winning Pontefract Collieries centre-back.
