Defender Josh Dacre is back playing for his spiritual club Handsworth FC at the start of the club’s new era.
Russ Eagle is back at the helm of Handsworth, assisted by Luke Forgione, and the pair are effectively building from ground zero as only four players remain from last season.
Versatile Dacre came up through the ranks at Handsworth and after departing a couple of years ago, has turned out Maltby Main, Selby Town, Worsbrough Bridge, Parkgate, among others.
Other notable signings for Handsworth are Harry Balmforth, Worsbrough starlet Jamie Austin, James Kay, Alex Varley and former Ossett Town man Anthony Mackie.
