Mangham spot on again for Stocksbridge

Luke Mangham was the last gasp penalty hero again for Stocksbridge Park Steels who continued their fantastic start to the BetVictor South East season.

Mangham scored both goals in Stocksbridge’s 2-1 win over Lincoln United at Bracken Moor.

Mangham’s first half stunning free kick was cancelled out, but he held his nerve to score another late penalty.

The Steels have now taken ten points from four league games. 

Despite Rieves Boocock’s double Frickley Athletic lost 3-2 at Carlton Town.

In the North West, Pontefract Collieries were the big winners of the day with their 2-0 victory over Ramsbottom United at the Football Family Stadium.

Jameel Ible and Vaughan Redford were on the scoresheet for the Colls.

Ioan Evans’ late goal earned Tadcaster Albion a point from the 1-1 draw at Prescot Cables.

Daniel Earl scored, but Pickering Town lost 2-1 at Marine.

Brighouse Town were beaten 1-0 at home to Droylsden, while Colne beat Ossett United thanks to three goals in the final 15 minutes.
