Nostell and Selby handed winnable FA Vase ties

Jason Dodsworth and Simon Houghton’s Nostell, along with Christian Fox’s Selby have been handed winnable FA Vase ties

FA Vase heroes Nostell Miners Welfare and Selby Town have been handed winnable home First Round proper ties.

Nostell will host North West Counties Division One side Wythenshawe Town, while Christian Fox’s Selby will welcome Cheadle Town from the same Division to Richard Street.

Nostell have reached the first round for the first time since 2012. Selby last got to the first round in 2015 during the Dave Ricardo era.

There’s plenty of winnable ties for NCEL sides as Glasshoughton Welfare head to Maine Road and Yorkshire Amateur face a trip to Seaham Red Star.

Hemsworth Miners Welfare visit Grimsby Borough and Penistone Church face Bridlington Town in the all NCEL ties.
