Ammers move into promotion places

Yorkshire Amateur moved into the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division promotion places after winning 3-1 at Handsworth.

Gibraltar International Adam Priestley opened the scoring early on and second half strikes from Roy Fogarty and Steve Crawford secured Ammers their win.

On loan Chesterfield youngster Luke Rawson scored a late consolation for Handsworth.

Selby Town are now three points behind Division One leaders Winterton Rangers with two games in hand after their 2-0 win at Worsbrough Bridge on Wednesday night.

Liam Flanagan scored just before the break and Josh Rogerson struck straight after it.

Parkgate lost 1-0 to Dronfield Town at home.
