Berchil at the double for Nostell

Amir Berchil has broke through the ranks at Nostell last season

Amir Berchil was at the double as Nostell Miners Welfare won 2-1 at Thackley.

Both goals were in the last ten minutes of the first half. Harvey Booth and Joe Wood helped to lay the first one on a plate for Berchil.

Left-back Jamie Allsop drove forward for the second and he supplied a fantastic ball for Berchill to finish from. 

Adam Muller scored for Thackley with 20 minutes to go.

Selby Town have not changed their ways under Christian Fox as the Robins were back to their cavalier ways with the 7-0 demolition of the Humber Premier League’s Westella & Willerby. 

A barnstorming last three minutes of the first half saw George Bissett and Charlie Clamp net from open play and Liam Flanagan score from the penalty spot.

An own goal, plus goals from Bissett, Josh Street and Wesley Naules completed the rout.

Antony Brown got a hat-trick as Silsden staged a spectacular comeback to come from 3-1 down to beat Abbey Hey 4-3. 

Lewis Morgan’s 20-yard strike was the winner on the hour mark. 

Bridlington Town were involved in an almighty goal-fest against their old manager Curtis Woodhouse’s Gainsborough Trinity.

Trinity came from two goals down early on to win 7-4 at Queensgate. Will Annan (2) and the Waudby’s Tom and Will, struck for Bridlington.

Rossington Main and Maltby Main battled out a 1-1 draw, with Jordan Buckham getting Rosso’s goal before Steve Hopewell equalised for Maltby late-on.

Brad Grayson scored twice as Frickley Athletic won 3-0 at local neighbours Pontefract Collieries. Nyle Blake was also on target for the Blues.

North Ferriby lost 1-0 to Bottesford Town at home, while Eccleshill United were beaten 4-1 by FC Untied of Manchester.

Golcar United were 7-3 winners against Field.
