Thackley stormed into the next of the FA Vase after a very impressive 4-0 victory at Northern League side Durham City.
Thackley had blown away their hosts by half-time mark.
Paddy McGuire’s struck the first blow midway through the first half when a ball over the top allowed Lewis Waddington to smash home.
The lead was soon doubled. Jack Normanton’s pass split the home defence open and Seb Scaroni nipped snd rounded the goalkeeper and one defender to score into the empty net.
An own goal added the third before half-time, but it wasn’t until the last nine minutes when Thackley hit the fourth. Scaroni’s effort thundered off the crossbar and spun in the air. Normanton reacted the quickest and scored.
