Thomas returns to Brighouse

Brighouse Town have brought St Kitts & Nevis International Zeph Thomas back to the club.

Thomas last played for Brighouse as a substitute in the 2019 NPL First Division East play-off final victory over Pontefract Collieries – which although Vill Powell’s men won, they weren’t promoted due to the very controversial rules related to restructuring.

Thomas had been an influential player for Brighouse during that campaign, scoring numerous goals.

The striker, whose list of clubs includes Rossington Main, Sheffield FC, Shaw Lane and a few more, then moved to Belper Town after leaving Brighouse in the summer of 2019.

He started this season with Christian Fox’s Selby Town.

Brighouse are not in action until at least the 9th January – restrictions permitting – having chosen against playing over the festive period like nearly the rest of the league.
