Garforth Town forward Charlie Marshall has returned to Garforth on loan

Charlie Marshall returned to Garforth Town with a bang after scoring in their 4-2 comeback victory at Albion Sports.

Garforth found themselves two-nil down at half-time as Robbie Fox had scored at the start of the match and right on the stroke of half-time.

Paul Marshall must have delivered the rollicking of the century as whatever was said the Miners were inspired.

Jamie Barkway’s low drive got Garforth straight back into it after the break.

Forward Marshall joined Liversedge in the summer but has come back to Garforth on loan and he got the equaliser.

Garforth did not take the lead until the final few minutes.

A Karl Fitzgerald cross was headed home from literally two yards out by substitute Jed Zanos.

Sam Barker then wrapped up proceedings with a penalty in the final minute.

Joe Jagger’s solitary first half goal gave Silsden their first win of the campaign.

Danny Forrest’s men won 1-0 at Bottesford Town.

Athersley Rec lost 2-0 to AFC Mansfield due to second half goals.

Luke Harrop’s Thackley lasted four minutes in the 3-1 home defeat to Grimsby Borough.

The former Eccleshill United star was sent off right at the start of the match for denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity.

The scores were tied at 1-1 at one point as Ben Grech-Brooksbank had cancelled out Lewis Collins’ opener for Grimsby.

Adam Drury and Richie Burdett earned Grimsby their win in the second half.
