Multi-promotion winner Luke Danville has joined Worsbrough Bridge on loan from Hemsworth Miners Welfare.

Centre-half Danville will add huge experience and intelligence to Worsbrough’s back four – starting on Saturday when they face old manager Lee Morris’ Armthorpe Welfare.

Danville, who has won promotion out of Division One with Shaw Lane Aquaforce, Pontefract Collieries and Hemsworth Miners Welfare, was until recently the joint player/manager of Hemsworth.

Luke Forgione told Worsbrough’s website: “Whether it is a short term or long term agreement I am sure that Luke will will have a positive impact, giving and sharing his insight and experience in Non League Football and is another voice in the changing room.

“Everyone knows what he can do on the pitch, but it is the other things that comes with him that makes it a great signing for us.”
