Midfielder returns to Brighouse

NPL Division One East

Josh Grant is back at Brighouse Town

Midfielder Josh Grant is back at Brighouse Town after a short stint away at leaders Liversedge.

The former Farsley Celtic player had left Brighouse for ‘Sedge in the summer.

The move ended a two-year stint with the club.

He returns ahead of Saturday’s league game at Shildon.

Vill Powell will be hoping Grant can bring back some of the magic from the first spell.

Almost 12 months ago to the day Grant scored arguably the club’s greatest goal from a technique point of view.

In the 3-3 draw with Runcorn Linnets, “Grant enjoyed his ‘greatest moment of his career’ when the Runcorn’s goalkeeper’s clearance reached him on the halfway line and he literally volleyed it and it flew into the net without bouncing before the goal-line – absolutely sensational.”

The glorious moment has been seen by over 60,000 people across the globe.
