Doubles from Daniel Naidole and Buddy Cox guided promotion-chasing Golcar United to another straight-forward victory.
The midweek win leaves Golcar a point behind and level on games with leaders Bury AFC who drew with Pilkington.
Cox’s goals were particuarly a confidence boost to himself as he has been out injured recently.
Former Emley, Eccleshill United and Brighouse Town attacker Jacob Buchanan also made his league debut for Golcar.
