Career Highlight

T’Nique Fishley playing for Yorkshire Amateur in 2017

Eccleshill away for Yorkshire Amateur in the last game of the 2017/18 season, down to men after 10 mins, we won 4-2 in a winner gets promoted match.

Most Memorable Game

Most memorable game for me personally has to be back in 2016 against Dronfield at home for Ammers as i am known for literally playing every position (Phil Harding) Skinny told me he needed me up front for the game and I went and scored four we won 5-1 I didn’t get to keep the match ball though!.

Lowest Moment in football

Unfortunately the lowest moment has to be in the seaside derby for Scarborough against Whitby and i had racial comments being shouted at me thankfully the ref actually stopped the game and the fan was ejected at half time.

Biggest regret in football

Probably not taking it as serious at a younger age.

Funniest moment in football

I’d say having to go in net for my local team Chapeltown Fforde Grene, I was awful but it was comical and fun.

First semi professional manager

Former Yorkshire Amateur chief Phil Harding was T’nique Fishley’s first Non League manager

Phil Harding, good manager and always made you go out and express yourself on the pitch and to play football on the deck.

Non League Debut

Yorkshire Amateur’s T’nique Fishley

Wasn’t a great debut (for Yorkshire Amateur) was thrown in at deep end played on the wing and it was throwing it down away at Grimsby Borough who was decent we got popped but was a proud moment.

First red card

I actually don’t think I’ve been sent off on a Saturday – been walked a few times on a Sunday though.

First and Best Goal

T’nique Fishley in action

First goal was a bit of a freak goal. Ball was crossed in I closed my eyes it hit my neck and trickled into bottom corner but I’d take those all day. It was a home match, forgot who it was against though. I think maybe Teversal.

Best goal was against penistone for Yorkshire Amateur at Bracken Edge. I was playing right back and as I do I made a sprint from well inside my own half and I think my centre back played a great diagonal ball and Ferdy (Fernando Moke) dummied it for me and I had 50 yards to run into got into the box cut in side and hit it with the outside of my boot and it curled into the top right – absolute scenes.

What do you want to achieve in the future

Get promoted this season would be nice and obviously to play as high as possible.

Favourite Non League ground

Flamingo Land Stadium, some atmosphere
