Silsden forward Jack Normanton

Jack Normanton grabbed his fourth hat-trick in five games by scoring the late equaliser for Silsden in the 3-3 draw at leaders Grimsby Borough.

Silsden fought back three times and even had to play an outfield player in the goal for the final five minutes after goalkeeper Sam Lee was sin-binned.

Eccleshill United missed the chance to close the gap on Grimsby as they drew 1-1 with Barton Town.

Ellis Wade scored a late equaliser for Lee Elam’s Eccleshill.

Penistone Church won 3-1 at Thackley who finished up with defender Dan Vinten in goal after Luke Wilson went off with a bad head injury.

Brad Kemp (2) and Nathan Keightley sowed the win up by the hour mark.

Albert Ibrahimi scored a consolation penalty for Thackley in the last minute.

Handsworth lost 4-1 at AFC Mansfield – Leon Howarth got Handsworth’s goal.

Knaresborough Town striker Sean Hunter

Knaresborough Town enjoyed a dream start at Staveley Miners Welfare as Sean Hunter gave them a ninth minute lead.

Unfortunately Staveley hit back and won 5-1.

Emley were beaten 1-0 by Sherwood Colliery at the Welfare Ground.

Athersley Rec suffered a 4-1 loss at Bottesford Town.

Muhamet Gashi was the Rec’s goal-scorer.
