Rogerson holds to nerve to score last penalty for Selby

Kain Rogerson’s last minute penalty rescued a point for Selby Town and denied struggling Swallownest a precious win.

Taylor Nicholson had scored twice in the final 20 minutes to set Alex Nightingale’s men on course to beat play-offs chasing Selby Town.

Dan Davison had given Selby a first half lead in the 2-2 draw.

Goal from Nicholson to make it 2-1 looked to have won it for Swallownest but a quick reply from @SelbyTown_FC with a late penalty stole a point!

Kieran Watson scored in the fifth and sixth minutes as Hallam won 2-1 at Retford FC.

The hard-fought win stretches their their lead at the top to six points and increases the pressure on rivals North Ferriby and Brigg Town.

Rossington Main cruised to a 4-0 win at doomed Teversal.

Myron Gibbons and Zeph Thomas both got doubles in the first half.
