Premier Division-bound Wombwell Town need one more point to clinch the Division One title
Wombwell cruised to another vital victory as they were 4-0 up by half-time.
The win sets up a crunch final day clash at bottom-side Sheffield Medics where a win or draw will see Wombwell reclaim the title which was taken away from them in 2020.
Brad Kerr hit two of the goals as Wombwell scored four times in 23 minutes after breaking the deadlock in the 13th minute.
James Copley headed in his first goal for the club.
Jordan Cooper scored the fourth after finding the top corner.
The job was done and with the likes of starlet and man of the match Chris Byrnes expertly pulling the strings in midfield, Wombwell’s position was never in doubt.
