A string of Wakefield-based Non League players are helping to raise money for Ukrainian families tomorrow.

Funds will go to UNICEF’s emergency appeal.

A Groundwork X1 will pit their wits against Wakefield Athletic B tomorrow (Sunday 12th June at 2pm) at West Yorkshire Sports and Social Club.

Former Glasshoughton Welfare joint manager Darren Holmes is managing the Groundwork side with Aleks Cellebicanin.

Losing is one of Holmes’ pet hates and he has left no stone unturned on the recruitment front.
