Chuffed Campion have pulled off the capture of two former star players.
Unrelated duo Aidan Day and Marcus Day have committed themselves for Campion’s return to the NCEL.
The signing of Marcus Day is particularly notable as he scored 16 times for Harrogate Railway last season.
He started the campaign at Campion, but was let go early doors and he went onto be a crucial part of their run to the play-off final.
Along with being captain Aidan Day was a key member of Campion’s side for many years until last summer.
That’s when he moved to Eccleshill United due to the travelling Campion had to put up with in the North West Counties.
