Andy Dawson has added a new coach to his management at Parkgate.
Chris Wood will take up the role after recently moving to South Yorkshire from the Midlands.
Wood was previously head coach at Ashby Ivanhoe and he has also the role of Head of Women’s Football and Girls Academy manager at Tamworth.
Dawson told Parkgate website: “Myself and Lee (Whitehead) arranged to meet up with Chris last week and enjoyed speaking to him about his coaching and playing background.
“Chris has good coaching qualifications and talked us through what he could bring to Roundwood and his beliefs mirror both mine and Lee’s vision of where we want to head this season.
“Chris took a training session last night and the lads enjoyed it which was a massive plus and we are delighted to welcome him to the club.”
