There has been an influx of new signings at National League new-boys York City.

The wave of captures began with the signing of right-back Ryan Fallowfield who had been released by League Two outfit Harrogate Town.

Two of Grimsby Town’s promotion winner then signed.

Midfielder Scott Burgess and left-back Adam Crookes will be part of the York side this season.

The pair were followed by three more in one go.

Defender Fraser Kerr links up with York after leaving Grimsby.

Midfielder Gus Mafuta arrives from Boreham Wood while AJ Greaves returns to the club after his departure from Doncaster Rovers.

He spent time at York on loan last season.

The final signing is a blast from the past.

Left-back Alex Whittle won the FA Trophy with York in 2017 and he returns after spells with Forest Green, Boston United, Gloucester City and Chesterfield.
