Scott Briggs has added a talented youngster to his Penistone Church Reserves squad.
Left-sided wizard Liam Childes has left Stocksbridge Park Steels Reserves and joined the Church ranks.
Childes is highly-rated and he even played briefly in the NPL for Brighouse town last season.
The move reunites him with centre-back Harry Hurst.
The pair played with each other at Ecclesfield Red Rose 1915 until the end of last season.
They were also picked for Terry Simon’s All Stars Representative side in May.
The County Senior League season is due to restart on Saturday and Church are scheduled to host Houghton Main.
