NPL Division One East

New Ossett United striker Brad Grayson

Ossett United have added a pair of signings, including more firepower in the shape of an ex-Stocksbridge Park Steels striker.

Gainsborough Trinity forward Brad Grayson has made the move to Ingfield.

Jas Colliver said: “Brad is someone I’ve known for years since we signed him on loan from Doncaster Rovers aged 17, he is proven at this level, he has a good reputation and I’m sure will soon become a fans favourite.”

The other signing is midfielder George Thewlis who was released from Bradford City.

Colliver said: “George trained with the squad last week since we knew he was available,

“George’s last club was Bradford City where he spent a number of years there after they signed him from Leeds United.

“George is only 18 years old but has a bright future ahead, we are hopeful we can continue to support his development.

“George has aspirations to play in the Football League, playing regularly for us can only help that ambition.”
