Nash Connolly hit the winner as Hemsworth Miners Welfare pulled off a major shock after winning 3-2 to knock holders Worksop Town out of the Sheffield Senior Cup and end their 11 game unbeaten run.
The stunning victory was made even remarkable as the Wells found themselves 2-0 down inside 18 minutes against the runaway NPL Division One East leaders, who had named a strong side.
Tavonga Kuleya and Liam Hughes put Worksop in full command.
Connolly pulled one back before teenage wonderkid Ben Gelder equalised to ensure the scores were level at the break.
Connolly scored the winning goal on the hour.
