Paul Walker scored for Farsley in their 5-0 thrashing of Kendall

Farsley Celtic had to settle for the play-offs, despite thrashing Kendal Town 5-0 on the final day of the season.

Lancaster City’s 5-2 victory at Glossop North End meant the Dollyblues secure the title, consigning Farsley to second place. The Celts will play Colne in the play-offs semi-finals on Tuesday night.

Farsley did not mess about at Kendal. Paul Walker, Lewis Nightingale (2), Richard Marshall and James Walshaw scored for them.

Scarborough Athletic join them in the play-offs following the narrow 1-0 win at Colwyn Bay – secured by Jacob Hazel’s second half goal. The Seadogs will host Ossett Town on Tuesday night.

Brighouse Town lost 3-1 at Clitheroe, despite Mike Fish giving them an early goal.

Ossett Albion lost 3-1 at Bamber Bridge. Ben Walker got Albion’s goal.

Tadcaster Albion were edged out by the odd goal in a 3-2 home defeat to Mossley. Josh Barrett and Tom Corner scored for Tadcaster.

Relegated Goole AFC drew 0-0 with Hyde United.

In the Premier Division, Frickley Athletic ended a disappointing season with a 3-0 defeat at Mickleover Sports.
