Mossimo Ciccarelli scored the equaliser as Athersley Rec claimed an outstanding point after drawing 1-1 at third-placed Eccleshill United.
Ciccarelli levelled proceedings with 17 minutes to go, cancelling former Campion captain Aiden Day’s opener for Eccleshill.
Division One
Unbeaten leaders North Ferriby rode to a 5-0 defeat of rock bottom Teversal.
Josh Whiteley (2), Josh Dennett, Joel Shortland and Danny East scored for Ferriby.
The opener was scored in the first minute through Shortland and Ferriby led 3-0 at the break.
NPL Division One East
Bridlington Town lost 5-0 to title-chasing Marske United at Queensgate.
Former York City striker Adam Boyes gave Marske a fourth minute lead which Marske doubled on the stroke of half-time.
Three late goals made the score-line more resounding.
